De Volksbank TeamMate+ implementation

De Volksbank, a solid player in the Dutch banking landscape, is known for its position as a bank that prioritizes social impact, sustainability, and customer value. Headquartered in Utrecht, the bank operates through its well-known brands ASN Bank, SNS, RegioBank, and BLG Wonen.
Recognizing the need to update their current audit management system, de Volksbank initiated a migration from its existing TeamMate AM system to TeamMate+. This change aimed to support their audit team with a futureproof system.

This customer experience highlights the support and value we provided throughout the migration process, ensuring a smooth transition to TeamMate+ and laying the groundwork for continuous improvement and long-term system optimization.

Key success factors during the migration project were:

Action-tracker driven project management resulting in smooth transition within time
The successful and timely rollout of TeamMate+ was driven by the efforts of de Volksbank’s project team supported by BR1GHT’s project coordination. Constant attention for project management and challenges that arose, were crucial for staying on schedule and addressing all specific use cases. The action-tracker utilized for outstanding matters played a key role in having focus. This resulted in a smooth transition with no delays and maintaining the momentum of the project from start to finish.

Thoughtful and careful executed data migration ensuring audit continuity with historical insights
One of the most crucial aspects of migrating de Volksbank’s audit management system from TeamMate AM to TeamMate+ was the secure transfer of existing internal audit data. Together Br1ght and de Volksbank facilitated the process carefully with multiple data checks to safeguarding the availability and accuracy of historical audit records. This ensured that the audit department could continue their work without disruption, with all past data intact in the new system.

Real-world pilot Testing to ease end-user adoption gaining valuable feedback before go-live
Pilot testing played a significant role in validating the migration’s success. De Volksbank facilitated comprehensive end user testing, where auditors interacted with the new data and audit templates in a controlled environment. This step allowed for early identification and resolution of issues, ensuring the configuration of audit templates met de Volksbank’s needs and maintained high quality in TeamMate+. At this stage BR1GHT, coached the de Volksbank team to refine TeamMate where needed or challenged the team to reconsider certain ways of working.

Targeted champions training that empowered the project team to transfer knowledge to all auditors
To foster user confidence and competence in the new platform, BR1GHT provided targeted training sessions designed to familiarize the champions of the audit team with the functionalities and possibilities of TeamMate+. This was picked up by the de Volksbank auditors and empowered them to not only adapt quickly but also to serve as internal trainers, cascading their knowledge to the wider audit team. This approach accelerated user adoption and also triggered considerations for continuous improvements within the department.

We are proud of the collaborative partnership established with de Volksbank, which enabled a seamless transition to TeamMate+. The project was marked by close cooperation and proactive project management that ensured all milestones were met on time. By leveraging an action-tracker-driven approach, we maintained focus on key deliverables, allowing the project to progress smoothly from start to finish without delays.

Thanks to the combined leadership and project management, we achieved a seamless migration, ensuring continuity for our audit team.
